Canberra Nara Candle Festival

Celebrate the 16th anniversary of our Sister City Relationship with Nara, Japan with more than 2000 shimmering candles at the Canberra Nara Candle Festival.

There is a range of entertainment including the Narrabundah College and Yosakoi Dance Group performance, the world class drumming troupe TaikOz and activities such as calligraphy, origami, latern making and face painting.

The official Candle Ceremony will held at 6.30pm.

The festival is being held at the Canberra Nara Park at Lennox Gardens from 3pm - 9pm on Saturday 26th September.
