The National Library of Australia was designed by Bunning and Madden in association with T E O'Mahoney and opened in 1968.
The National Library of Australia is the country's largest library, the library has considerable collections of Australiana, general, overseas and rare book materials.
The Library also has an active program of changing exhibitions, film screenings, education events and behind-the-scenes tours.
Open daily (except Christmas Day) 9.00am - 5.00pm and admission is free.
